SE looks to have brought some magic tricks in this phone, like muting the phone, seeing the external display just by moving the hands around it & not touching it, looks some magician has joined the design team of them, question is when do we actually see dis magic? just sickening is the waiting period.

Roma,
See the official site of SE, they say you can just wave your hand in the vicinity of the phone & it can do a lot of things like muting the phone, snoozing the alarm, but they have stated only these two above, I don’t what does “a lot” means.

One thing I hate about SE and all the manufacturers that they don’t declare the price at the time of official release also, whats the harm in mentioning the range, then a customer can decide whether should wait for it to come or not? I am also in dilemma about Z555, though the styling has attracted me!!!

What I can say about Sony Ericsson Z555. It is a pretty basic multimedia phone with a folder type form factor. We don’t need 3G or WLAN for daily usage. This phone is manufactured only for the basic multimedia phone market. So, Don’t ask SE people to put 3G or other high tech features in Z555.

I am not a heavy user of the phone and also I don’t need a PDA phone. So SE Z555 will definitely offer me a pleasure with its great battery and multimedia features like Camera, media player and radio. I will try this one…..

As per specifications, Z555 will have 540 minutes talktime but I don’t think anybody will get that much support from the battery of this phone. I will wait for a month after its release so that I will get the perfect information about the functioning of it.
