It’s a high maintenance phone. I guess all flip flap phones are. But all the features available are good and of high quality, so take a little care of the phone.

The phone is horrible…the camera’s bad, the screen display is poor, and the design is gaudy. The only saving point of this phone is that the battery power is excellent.

The model has got all the features that today’s generation needs. A
camera, bluetooth, USB support, SMS, EMS, MMS, web access, games.
Everything. So no complaints. Only 1 worry, hoping that the phone is
not frail.

Funky and chunky phone. I hadn’t seen a handset in maroon color, till I
set my eyes on Z530. The black color is also really dark and wicked

I m using this phone since five months and the body color is black. The camera clarity is better than only VGA camera coz it is interpolated to 1.3 MP camera. The photo quality with 640x480 pixels makes the image larger and clear to see as compare to lower resolution. Battery backup of this mobile while standing is written 400 hours in booklet but it gives only about 360-380 hours. And the talk time backup is of 8 hours hardly, but it is sufficient to use it for two to three days easily. I am using 512 MB memory card with this phone but now I want to use 1 GB, I want to know that is this mobile capable of running this card too??? If anyone is using that then please help me in finding this information.

You know something the face wrap feature of the camera is best to tease
your friends, I keep on clicking their faces & twist them the way I
want, great fun. I like Z530 just too much. Don’t want to part with it.

I keep on changing the covers matching to the colour of the
dress I am wearing that day, what fun!! Really hot. Too good as the
first phone & at a very affordable cost. Friends, teenagers
entering college go for it.

Go get this phone; it’s really a great treat for the
price they offer. Do not listen to the negative comments by many on
various sites. This is my 12th phone in the similar price band & by

Good phone for making calls & listening to MP3 music & in terms
of battery life, but not for taking even simple photos. The expandable
memory card is very very expensive.

The volume is so low I think I need to add an amplifier so I can listen
to it, I have missed many calls especially when in traffic or on a
crowdy road. I am going to give it in a buy back arrangement & go
in for one of those Nokia flip ones.

One of the worst keypad designs I have ever seen or handled, I took it
on trial basis of one week & returned it the very third day. Why
the keys are sunken below the surface? One needs to have ladyfingers to
use them very effectively!!!!!

The camera sucks. If by chance u happen to try to take a photo of a
moving object, forget it u can never get a good one. Even the still
photos are not at all up to the mark. Either they shouldn’t have
included this kind of camera at all in this & further reduce the
prices or give a good one!

I think competitors must be cursing SE designers & the vision of SE
management for launching such a handset with so many commonly used
functions & that to within a reach of every one as far as the price
factor is concerned. As like in any of the Sony handsets the sound is
crystal clear.

Fantastic battery life, good looks, what attracts me more is the card
slot for enhancing the memory. I have stored all my favorite tracks
& really a good to pass my leisure time, why do I need ipod? And
very high speed connectivity with bluetooth. SE rocks

A rock solid handset. A camera, Bluetooth, mp3, HTML browser what
all-more one can expect at such a low price? Really SE has done wonder
to offer so much at such an affordable price for everyone.

hi there,
I am using the phone for last 3 months. I would like to mention its negative points:
1) main display is with low resolution
2) average camera
3) No FM radio
4) keypad design is not user-friendly
5) memory stick is not available in the market
