It has a nice lightweight design so I was thinking to have as a second phone. But when I saw the features, I came to know that it couldn’t be helpful for me.

Pros: Lightweight body (just 69 grams), good battery support, cool looks, excellent signaling and CHEAPEST phone.
Cons: Nothing as E201 is basic phone purposely made for average people.

Why do I care about the others? I have this phone and I love my phone! Just superb! It has an excellent signal quality, great battery life and the most important thing about this phone is that it is one of the low priced phones available in the market. Go for it!

Just worst! Alcatel OT-E201 has nothing!!
Now a days, mobile manufacturing companies offers at least FM with entry-level phones but OT-E201 has nothing. Just call and receive functioning!
The best feature of this phone is SMS…hahaha!
I don’t think anybody will think to buy such pointless phone.

Hi all,
Alcatel OT-E201 is a nice phone but unfortunately we are unable to send or receive any picture message. I know this a basic phone still Alcatel can provide picture messaging with such phones. Still good value for your money!

you can use this one as an emergency phone. In case your favorite one breaks down or battery is down, this one is useful for making emergency calls. I do the same.

I have been using this phone for about 6 months and not an iota of problem with the handset. An extremely dependable handset. It accommodates enough SMS’s and contacts, is lightweight and has good battery power.

the worst part of this phone is the number backlighting....RED! in the dark it feels like someone has passed laser rays through our eyes..

just to provide it at a low cost Alcatel has compromised with the quality of E201. the handset is made of plastic and also the keypad is difficult to handle as it feels kind of rubbery to hands..

everybody is criticizing this phone..but I love it..i brought for £8 from Woolworths and that an amazing deal..for everyday use this one is perfect for me..when I start earning, may be I will think of buying a nokia or sony walkman

you have only two options with this phone: make and receive calls and SMS. This one is not only cheap in price but also quality wise..c’mon! don't give me the reason that this is a phone for users who do not how to operate high-end mobiles..today even a 12-13 guy/gal knows how to operate a digital camera..
