The Sony Xperia Sola is the first smartphone of its kind to use floating touch technology that allows users to operate the phone without touching the screen. The capacitive touch screen of the phone recognizes finger movement up to a distance of 20 mm above the screen. The Sola is powered by 1 GHz dual core NovaThor processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) platform. It is NFC capable, with 5MP camera and provides a great listening experience with xLOUD. Also, it is DLNA enabled to view and share content between TV, tablet and PC.
