To Samsung people,
Please improve display quality of such phones.
Provide camera with higher resolution but never offer VGA one.
Look up for better sound quality like SE and Motorola.
Finally make some changes in folder type design. Don’t offer the same design again and again. Got it?

I had used Samsung X540 when I was on a company tour continuously for 3 months. Sometimes I suffered battery problem but generally it performed well for me.
I will give 7 out of 10 to this phone.

Great phone! I used it over a year and I never experienced any problem while operating this phone. VGA camera is just good for emergency and FM radio offers a real joy. But don’t expect 100% results for web browsing by X540. Overall, nice flip phone for average user like me!

Got frustrated by bad reception quality of X540. Even I lost network at many places where phones of other companies showed full connectivity. I thought X540 would be helpful for me but it offered me a lot headache. Bad phone!

Samsung X540 is not a very good device. I had it for 2 months then I sold it. The battery of this phone is so poor that I had to charge it at least twice in a day. No Samsung phones for me, never ever!

Simple folder design with 1.9 TFT display is good and it is capable of viewing 8 lines of text for fast viewing of long SMS. But battery backup is not up to that mark.

Excellent FM radio. Radio receiver has a auto and also manual tuning to search different stations easily. It can save up to 30 channels and we can access it with just a one click.

Best phone for new users like me. Very easy to handle and user friendly interface. It has a good VGA camera with digital zoom, Embedded FM Radio receiver to surf different channels and WAP to access internet in a simple and convenient way.

It is a good part on Samsung that they are launching and concentrating on the both sides of a coin, technologically advanced featured fones for the elite class and entry level ones for like X540 for the low end market, yet the looks and styling is not compromised in this segment too. X540 is really gorgeous looking phone, m proud to posses it.

what for is the blue tooth is provided? just for listening to songs on FM-radio? as it doesn’t even have the music player or that specification is just to attract the consumer?

I know it is not a hi tech phone, no 3G no EDGE no card slot but it is definitely eye catching in the crowd and that is good enough for me.

a good phone for an ordinary person like me, guys and gals in my class we don’t care much about the additional unused features, we are strong believers the phone is for talking and making SMS and X540 does it perfectly.
