Samsung people are master in producing the phones based on slide mechanism so we don’t have to worry about J700’s slide mechanism. All features are looking good as compared to the other basic multimedia phones available in the market but this phone should have little more battery back up. Overall I will give 7 out of 10 to J700.

Great designed phone!
But what about the talktime of this phone? Just 180 minutes!! How can you use it for a day on a single recharge? Samsung has to provide a better battery with this phone.

Superb slide mechanism! But I am little worried about the music quality of J700. Also 1.3 MP camera will not be enough for me. Not made for me!

hey all,
J700 is looking a nice phone. I will give this handset to my dad who is using Nokia 1100 for last 5 years. Nokia 1100 is a basic phone so he will be happy with this multimedia handset.

One more entry-level multimedia phone by Samsung. It has 1.3 MP camera, MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth and external memory card slot option. So J700 will fulfill your basic multimedia needs with superb slide mechanism. So buy it!

This is an useless phone..first of all I will not buy this one..is anyone gifts me..i will use for a few days..and then purposely lose it…Samsung shouldn’t have built-in in the mobile tracker facility in this phone..who would want it back..?

it is possible to track mobiles even in difficult places..as they use GPS track satellite network for this purpose..only phones using GPM and GSM networks can be tracked using repeater trangulation method. if you want your phone to be tracked down, visit the site: http://www.sat-gps-locate.com/hindi/index.html.

i read about the feature - even if its stolen and then by changing a sim card, the specific number stored in the phone will get an SMS of the location? is this feasible in countries where the address is difficult to trace?
