this is a degraded version of D880. when Samsung had it been going so well with the D880 why the D780 version. Samsung has stepped on its own shoes.

if the second sim can be used only for video telephony and messaging and not for making any calls, then what’s the need for a dual SIM. Also I heard the phone reboots while switching SIM’s then I don’t think this phone is a good invention from Samsung

even Philips 9@9 v which was announced around the same time has dual sim facility. Features wise it doesn’t speak much, but Philips battery work wonders rather than Samsung

hi juan :) both phone offer the same facilities and there’s not much of a difference other than the camera. so if u really want to buy any one of these phones, both are kinda same

Poor sound quality and not so good speed while browsing web. Dual sim facility is only one good feature packed in such large size phone and nothing else….

Nice phone… But each time it needs to reboot to shift from one sim to other is little problem otherwise it is amazing handset designed by Samsung. Sound quality is much good but I think they should improve little battery life as it is quite low with such dual sim handset…

I have just bought the Duos and its not really easy to switch between the two sims. When u try to do so, you get the message that the phone is going to reboot.

I was using the other Duos (D880) and with that handset you had to restart the phone to make calls and send SMS from other sim. Is it the same with D780?
