you can download "Samsung E1080T Sync PC Suite USB Driver" which is compatible to Windows, for connecting it to your PC. You need to try whether Samsung PC Studio recognizes it or not.

I use this phone to connect to GPRS from my desktop. Weather the phone is having less facilities, this phone is good for internet connectivity. When connected through data cord it gives nice speed for downloading and surfing internet.

Basic phone with just Mp3 ringtone facility. But still phone is having nice network strngth. voice clarity while call is quite good. Games are available but you cannot download any more from Internet.

The package says Samsung Guru 1080 and the phone says Samsung GT-E1080F. I don't know the difference. Maybe you'd be interested. Find out yourself. Now, the phone is excellent. I mean as a basic phone it hardly leaves you grounds for complaints. My set has 1000 phonebook capacity, calculator, converter, calender, stopwatch and all the useful gimmicks I ever need. It doesn't have FM, camera, music---i mean things that you never use. Thanks Samsung. One bad thing, if I have to mention one, is the torch. Samsung will be better off cutting out that 'light up your life' crap from this set at least. The torch doesn't have any handy button to turn on. By the time, you've found a candle, lighted it, found the 'OK' button, gone to the 'Setting' menu and turned on the torch, the electricity have probably revived. Forget the torch. Who needs a torch in a cellphone anyway. This is a grand offer from Samsung. Go grab one.

i don't know why samsug is producing such phones.. already there are many phones (from samsung) like this in the market. this phone do not have emailing / browsing facilities. This handset doesn't have USB support, no gprs / wap, if you wanna to take sms backup then you have to use USB port. Anyways its plus point is its cheap with very bright torch light.

very very basic phone. good to have it as a standby or secondary phone (if your hi-tech business phone goes dead then you can put your sim card on this phone)

I will recommend this phone for people who are searching for affordable phone because, its easy to hold and sturdy phone with very bright and long lasting torch light, secondly its keypad and UI are very easy to use and navigate.

its a basic phone with very user-friendly UI. the talk time is more than sufficient for me. and the phone was not pricey so i bought it and am loving it. thanks Samsung for nice fone.

Am using dis fon 4 couple of mnths.. wat i lik is its battery i mean torch life.. i stay in a area where electricity goes off quite frequently, in dis case the torch helps me a lot searching my things..
