Sony Ericsson has recently announced the future release of the W595 Walkman. The Walkman model has something new; it is a slider and the company like to refer to it as the W595 Walkman music slider. Interesting name if you cut the numbers.

The music phone comes with a 2.2 inch 256 k color QVGA display and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and UMTS 2100 MHz. As for the music features, the W595 comes with an incorporated music player with SenseMe playlist support, built-in FM radio.

Web browsing is covered by the Access NetFront web browser which can also read RSS news feeds for W595. The device also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with Best Pic support and picture blogging software. Its battery life is about 4.5 hours in 3G talktime, 25 hours of music playback.

On interesting aspect of this release is the fact that you will be able to choose one color of the following: blue, white, grey and black. The handset is not that heavy as it weights only 104g.W959 Walkman slider is expected to be available in the markets in Q4 this years.
