Toshiba is planning to release a new handset, the TG01. The new smartphone comes with some great features and a splendid design.

The new TG01 comes with a 4.1 inch WVGA 800 x 480 384k pixel resistive touchscree and incorporates WiFi, GPS and A-GPS as well as 3G HSDPA. The handset runs Windows Mobile 6.1.

The handset also comes with Toshiba’s own 3D user interface and means a premier in using Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon QSD2850 chip. Additionally, the new device has a microSDHC slot that supports cards up to 32 GB.

The distribution plans, availability and prices have not been announced, however Toshiba will announce all information in the next few days.
