Telstra Releases Samsung U900 and LG KF700 V.J. | , 3:34 p.m. July 16, 2008 2008-07-16

 

The main mobile carrier in Australia recently decided to release two brand new mobile phones to its list compatible with its Next G network. The two handsets are released under the names of Samsung U900T and LG KF700Q. Both devices allow quick data transfer up to 7.2 Mbps thanks to their HSDPA connectivity.

 

The Samsung U900T has a 2.2 inch TFT display with 16 million colors and 240 x 320 resolution, touch navigation pad, mobile TV, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, music and video players, FM radio. Internet surfing is enabled with a full HTML browser and it also supports email service. The device comes with 100MB of internal memory and microSD card support. To this Samsung added a 5 megapixel cameras with auto focus, image stabilizer, flash and face detection features.

 

Samsung U900 is a best-seller worldwide with over 1 million devices sold. The device will probably cost around 879 Australian dollars. A fair price as it has a smooth and elegant design and great features.

 

LG KF700Q comes with a 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 256K colors and 240 x 480 display, music player, Bluetooth and expandable memory. The device comes with an interesting 3.15 megapixel camera with auto focus.

 

Both devices have been released by Telstra to be added to the Next G network. The LG KF700Q and the Samsung U900T will each cost around 879 Australian dollars (858 USD / 540 Euros).
