One of Samsung’s latest mobile phones, the Samsung M8800 Pixon has been added to T-Mobile’s portfolio with the name T929 Leica. We do not know why did T-Mobile choose a different name, but this occurs frequently.
The handset is pretty cool. It comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen and a fabulous 8 megapixel camera with auto focus, 16x digital zoom, face detection and shake detection. Additionally, the handset has Bluetooth 2.0, FM tuner, TouchWiz OS, 200MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. The camera can also capture 720 x 480 videos at 30fps or QVGA clips at 120 fps.
The handset is just 13.8 mm thick. It supports quad-band GSM and HSDPA networks. Overall, this terminal is pretty sleek, yet one problem is that 200 MB internal memory, and that’s kind of low for a high-end handset.
