T-Mobile has launched the Samsung Highlight. The handset is a touch phone of mid-range. It comes with some interesting features and a somehow elegant design.
According to reports, the handset will be available this month and it is expected to cost about $150 with a 2 year contract.
The handset comes with a large touchscreen display, thin-profile design, a 3 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom and video capture capabilities. Additionally, the handset sports Stereo Bluetooth, microSD slot for up to 16GB of optional removable memory, music player with support for most formats.
The Samsung Highlight also comes with IM support for AIM, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger. Additionally, the Highlight sports A-GPS with TeleNav and has quad-band GSM connectivity support. The handset sports a 1.61 x 2.64 inch display capable of offering 240 x 400 pixels resolution and 262 K TFT display.
