A few months ago 3 has announced a second version of their popular Skypephones. Recently it passed the FCC approval and is one step away from availability in the markets.
The second Skypephone follows pretty much the lines already marked by its predecessor. Skypephone S2 will offer free Skype calling and instant messaging, the possibility of accessing social networking sites like Facebook. Even more, users can now easily access Google and Windows Live Messenger.
Skypephone S2 comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera and HSDPA internet capabilities. It offers a 2.2 inch QVGA screen and 4GB expandable memory. Its design is elegant as it comes in decent black with metal-like keys.
The handset will be available for free on contract with 3 and on prepay it will cost about 70 pounds.
