Samsung released the latest Galaxy Note 8 on Friday in 42 countries, including the US, Canada, Singapore, South Korea and some major European markets. A new report from Samsung's home country now has said that the company managed to sell as many as 270,000 units of the Galaxy Note 8 on the first weekend following its release. South Korea's top three carriers, including SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus, received 200,000 new subscribers for the Galaxy Note 8 on September 15, followed by 70,000 more subscribes on the following day.
