Samsung is continuing its new releases path without any major problems. Now they are ready to hit the mobile phone markets with two brand new designs. Recently, the company has announced the B308 and B289 handsets.

Interesting is the fact that these two mobile phones will have just basic features and, even more, the letter B actually stands for basic. The Samsung B308 and B289 are pretty much entry-level mobile phones. So don’t expect the latest mobile technology.

Samsung B308 is reported to be a dual-band GSM handset with FM tuner, MP3 ringtones, USB connectivity and Java games. It comes with a 1.5 inch CSTN display and, sadly, it won’t support GSM 1900 MHz standard for North America.

The B289 is pretty much as basic as you can get, but this one is a CDMA phone. Like the B308, the device will not have high end features; in fact what can be said about the device is that it’s basic. It will have just 200 SMS capacity and a contact list of 500 numbers.
