Samsung announced its mobile phone exclusively made for the Russian Olympic team. The D780 comes in gold and in the back the Olympic logo appears in its colors. It is unknown if it will be released for the masses but if they do the price may be extreme.

D790 comes with EDGE and GRPS, it features two SIM cards. The Russian Olympic team will have a phone with built-in camera of 2 megapixel, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and microSD. It also supports stereo FM in case they get bored and want to listen to some Chinese radio.

The Samsung D780 is not the new big deal, actually not even close to that. The looks at least are eye catching and offer a prestigious image but the phones’ functions are, well, limited.
