Samsung Case Against Apple Gets Rejected in Japanese Court Chaitali Gawade | , 9:55 a.m. Oct. 23, 2012 2012-10-23

Samsung requested blocking of all sale of iPhones in Japan, and filed a case against Apple. Samsung claims that their patents are being infringed upon by  the iPhone 4 and the 4S, regarding the technology being used while downloading apps and during the airplane mode.

The case didn't hold any ground in the Tokyo District Court. The court ruled out the case, stating that the technology used by Apple is remarkably different from the technology used by Samsung. The airplane mode was said to be an extension of past innovations.

So as per the court ruling, sales of iPhones in Japan, continue as before. This victory goes to Apple and adds to the problems that Samsung is already facing regarding Galaxy smartphone.

Samsung and Apple have long been clashing heads. However, the world statistics shows that Samsung is losing out, while Apple seems to be on the winning edge. Samsung however, refuses to give in. It can still afford many losses. If this scenario continuous, there is no doubt that Apple will emerge the victor from this war.
