Canada will get the Nokia 6790 Surge through wireless operator Rogers. The handset was launched recently in the US via AT&T and is expected to be available for purchase in Canada in the near future.
The Nokia Surge comes with a 2.4 inch display with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, a full QWERTY keyboard and a modest 2 megapixel camera. The phone has Bluetooth capabilities and support for quad-band GSM/ EDGE and dual-band HSDPA connectivity.
The handset also sports a microSDHC memory card for additional storage space and runs the Symbian Series 60 operating system.
The phone is expected at Rogers for the price tag of CAD 89.99 with a three-year contract agreement, or CAD279.99 is the full retail price.
