RIM has recently announced an interesting new handset, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 that comes with a new white design. The phone comes with support for 3G networks, built-in GPS, WiFi and a 3.2 megapixel camera.
The Bold 9700 in white comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and offers a 480x360 pixel resolution on a 2.44 inch transmissive TFT LCD display. The phone comes with integrated GPS with A-GPS and includes BlackBerry Maps, WiFi connectivity support with WPA/WPA 2 Personal and Enterprise, WMM, WMM Power Save, Cisco CCX certification and access to the BlackBerry Enterprise and Internet servers.
The new handset is 3G (HSDPA) compatible on UMTS 2100/ 1900/ 850/ 800 MHz and GSM 1900/ 1800/ 900/ 850 MHz. It also comes with Bluetooth 2.0 and, as previously mentioned, a 3.2 megapixel camera. The camera comes with auto-focus, image stabilization, flash, 2X digital zoom and video recording capability.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 in White will be available online and in-store from Carphone Warehouse and T-Mobile.
