Following AT&T’s announcement that the company will release the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus smartphones, plans have been elaborated in this matter. Now, AT&T has announced that the Palm Pre Plus will become available for customers starting May 16.
The phone may be available for $149.99 after contract and mail-in rebate. This, at least, was announced by the company via its Facebook page, writes Softpedia. The Pixi Plus will probably arrive with a price tag of $49.99.
The Palm Pre Plus measures no more than 3.9 x 2.3 x 0.67 inches and weights about 4.89 oz. The handset comes with a 3 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, 3G Mobile Hot Spot capabilities and WiFi connectivity support.
The handset is equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1 inch touchscreen display capable of offering a 480 x 320 pixel HVGA resolution. The battery offers 330 minutes of talk time and about 350 hours of stand by mode.
