The highly awaited Samsung i900 Omnia managed its way in the UK and it seems that T-Mobile will release it shortly. Also, the handset available on T-Mobile UK is the 8GB version which suggests that Orange may have exclusive rights on the 16GB unit.

The Samsung i900 Omnia is a superb phone and many times it was dubbed the iPhone killer. However this might not be the case but the features of this unit are sometime persuasive to choose the Omnia instead of the iPhone.

Samsung i900 Omnia comes with a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen 256K colors and 240 x 400 pixels resolution. It is equipped with 128 RAM, 256MB ROM and has a 624MHz Marvel PXA312 processor. It comes either with 8GB or 16GB internal memory.

The unit is pretty slim as it measures only 112 x 56.9 x 12.5 mm and weights about 122 g. The Samsung i900 Omnia runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support. It has built in GPS receiver with A-GPS support, FM Radio with RDS.

The battery is also pretty impressive as it offers 6 h talk-time and about 500 hours in standby.
