Wireless carrier O2 has started selling their first Android handset, the Samsung Galaxy i7500. According to reports, the device will be available exclusively to O2 for the near future.

The phone comes with a Qualcomm processor running at 528 MHz, a 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen capable of displaying 480 x 320 pixels, on screen QWERTY keyboard and 8GB built-in memory upgradeable to 40GB with a 32GB microSD card.

The handset also comes with a 5 megapixel camera with Flash, 7.2mbps HSDPA and WiFi connectivity plus a 3.5 mm earphone socket. In addition, the handset will be equipped with the Chrome Lite browser, Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar and Google Talk.

In any case, the phone is available for free for a £39.15 per month on a 24 month contract agreement. The user gets for that price 1200 minutes and 1000 texts.
