Pre-ordering already started for the upcoming Nokia N97, however, it seems that shipping will come with a delay. Nokia officials have announced that the new handset will be released in Europe to July.

The new Nokia N97 was due to be released in June, however, Vodafone’s website informs that the handset will arrive in July. Vodafone did not offer any pricing information. Nokia said that Expansys pre-order listing price of almost 700 pounds was outrageous and that they hope their new handset will be available for a lower price.

Nokia N97 is a touchscreen mobile that comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The handset is the first high-end N-Series phone to support a touchscreen. N97 runs on Symbian Series 60, 5^th Edition.
