Many floating rumors predicted the Nokia N9 of favouring a 3.5-inch touchscreen, but it seems to prove otherwise. A massive 4.0-inch touchscreen will highlight the next Symbian release from Finnish stables, considerably larger than Apple's iPhone 4 and HTC's Evo 4G. The resolution of the screen is yet unknown, but is said to be 360 x 640 pixels, reasonably low for 4.0-inch screen.
The Nokia N9 prototype also features a QWERTY slider giving it a slightly bulky look compared to a full touchscreen phone. However, it still looks delicious and will offer a tough competion to its counterparts.
As for the other features, Nokia's expected next release should pack an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and HDMI port.
We will keep our fingers crossed that the final Nokia N9 product turns out to become a real wizard among the current crowd of smartphones.
