A challenging event invites applications from the techno wizards. Nokia and AT&T together presents 2010 Calling All Innovators - North America developer contest to the developers to build innovative applications and playoffs for the latest Nokia N8 and upcoming Nokia devices for consumers in the U.S. and Canada.

The application submission period has begun on Sept 21st, 2010 at 12:01AM Eastern Time that will end at 5:00PM Eastern Time on Friday, January 28th, 2011.

It is believed that Nokia is awarding $10 million to the developers participating in this application contest for the American market, where a platform has been put forward to build amazing apps for Symbian^3, as found on the Nokia N8, in order to get up to $250 000 in cash.

A joint panel will be oversee the selection that will comprise of Nokia and AT&T, as part of the North America Calling All Innovators contest.

In all there will be seventeen categories that will have three winners in each, which will receive $150 000. Moreover,the top seventeen will be walking away with approximately $100 000 for a grand total of $250 000.

STEP 1: Develop your app for the N8
STEP 2: Register as an Ovi Publisher at http://publish.ovi.com
STEP 3: Publish your app to the Ovi Store for the N8 in English for the USA and/or Canada.
STEP 4: During the App Submission Period, complete and submit the Contest Registration Form.
STEP 5: During the App Submission Period, complete and submit the App Submission Form for each App being entered in the contest here.
