One of the latest mobile phones that Nokia has to offer has recently successfully passed the FCC inspection and will be out in the markets soon.
The N79 is a quad-band GSM with GPRS and EDGE, dual-band HSDPA connectivity for data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. The handset comes with a 2.4 inch TFT display with 16 million colors and 240 x 320 pixels, accelerometer and a touch-sensitive navi heel.
Additionally, the handset comes with internal GPS, A-GPS, WiFi, HTML browser, RSS feed reader, email and Instant Messaging, Music Player with Mp3, WMA, AAC, M4a and eAAC+ support.
Even more the handset comes with Video player, stereo FM radio with RDS and FM transmitter, TV out and document viewer. The N79 is runs Symbian 9.3 S60 3rd edition and comes with a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with auto focus, flash and video recording.
The release date and availability aren’t really known, but the handset should cost about $500, probably a few dollars more. Anyway the handset is incredible and a must have.
