Hoping to increase sales in a market dominated by domestic mobile phones manufacturers, Nokia tries to implement a wireless LAN service in Japan.
The Finns will provide Local Area Network services to Nokia handsets users of Japan’s 3rd biggest national mobile phone solutions provider, Softbank Corp.
Thanks to this service users may enjoy faster internet connection allowing them to download at high speeds and share photos on their website or onto social networking sites.
But Nokia is not foreign to Japan, as it provides handsets to the countries leading mobile phone carrier, DoCoMo Inc.
