Nokia has released an intriguing clamshell phone, the Nokia 7205 Intrigue. The handset is unusually elegant for Nokia handsets and comes with some interesting features. However, what makes this handset different is its smooth design.

The handset has one interesting feature popularly dubbed ‘hidden-until-lit’. This means that the phone’s black exterior has an ‘invisible’ display that becomes active and visible only when a call or an SMS is received.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue comes with a 2 megapixel camera that can be also used with a dedicate button. Additionally, the handset comes with a microSD memory card of up to 8 GB capacity. Each contact has its own photo or icon, and the user can use the Intrigue to upload photos onto social networking sites like Facebook.

At the moment, the handset is available only in North America for the price of $130. There is no information regarding plans for European release.
