Nokia has unveiled the first handset in the new Cseries lineup, the Nokia C5. Photos of the upcoming phone have appeared and are presented below. The new candybar device comes with all features of a smartphone, but interesting is the fact that it costs just 135 Euros.
Nokia C5 comes with built-in A-GPS with Ovi Maps offering free pedestrian and car navigation. The phone runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition and comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera. HSPA connectivity is also available.
The phone offers fast access to social networking sites, including Facebook and MySpace and to instant messaging and email accounts from Ovi Mail or other providers.
Some reports indicate that the phone will be available at 135 Euros, others suggest the price tag of 169 Euros while the Symbian Foundation expects the handset to cost no more that 100 Euros. In any case, official information is unavailable at this time.
