A new handset made by the South Korean mobile phone manufacturer LG Electronics has recently passed the FCC approval. The LG GW600 is expected to launch through AT&T and will be powered by Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system.
The handset comes with a 20-key half-QWERTY keyboard. It has quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band WCDMA connectivity support. The handset comes with a 3.1 megapixel camera, built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth connectivity, proximity sensor, light sensor and accelerometer. The phone also sports video sharing capabilities, flick and gesture controls.
For now there are is no information available on a possible launch time frame. Additionally, the price tag from AT&T is unknown.
