The new Sonim XP3 is the latest mobile phone from the indestructible category that is to be announced in the US. The handset is, of course, waterproof and it can work in almost any temperatures, from freezing to hellish-like.

The handset is expected to be released in March 2009 and it will include GSM, quad-band EDGE support and a screen display pf 160 x 128 pixels resolution. Additionally it will have GPS, Bluetooth and a 3 megapixel camera.

Unfortunately, there is no further information on the price.
