At the Mobile World Congress, the HTC came in full force with a wide range of new mobile phones; one of them was the HTC Touch Pro2. The handset is reported to be on its way to the US market through T-Mobile USA.
However, the Touch Pro2 includes a series of 3G frequencies reserved for AT&T which might suggest that the handset will be available in the future through AT&T as well. In any case, the handset comes with some interesting features.
The HTC Touch Pro2 will run on a 528 MHz processor and has 512 MB ROM and 288 MB RAM. Additionally it will incorporate a display of 480 X 800 pixel resolution. The handset is also reported to have other features like Video Out, a-GPS capabilities, WiFi connectivity support, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a 3.1 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities.
The handset is rumored to run under the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and to have a secondary VGA camera that would allow for video calls. At this time, this is all the information the net has to offer on the handset.
