The HTC Touch Diamond 2 is powered by Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system and is eligible for upgrade to the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 platform when it will become available.
The phone was initially expected to be launched via Orange, however it seems that Vodafone got it first. Unfortunately, there is not information on the availability of the HTC Touch Pro 2.
Additionally, there is no info on the phone’s price tag, but these details should be available soon and we will probably return on this. Anyway, what we do know is the phone’s features.
The HTC Touch Pro 2 comes with a 3.6 inch touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, 3G capabilities as well as GSM connectivity and support for corporate and personal applications.
The handset also comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, GPRS, WiFi, a microSD card slot for additional storage space. The handset weights about 175 grams and measures 116 x 59.2 x 16 mm. The battery is also pretty good as it supports 420 minutes of talktime and up to 348 hours of standby time.
