The new HTC Touch Diamond is bound to be released in the U.S. by Sprint on September 2nd. Rumors circulated around this subject and it was believed that it will arrive in the U.S. either via Verizon or Sprint.
The official release date for the U.S. has been announced. Sprint plans to unleash HTC Touch Diamond in the United States on September 2nd. Many users believe this device is far better than iPhone. In fact, Vodafone in the UK stated that HTC Touch Diamond is ‘better than iPhone in every way’.
HTC Touch Diamond will be sold under the name HTC MP6950, but official prices are yet unknown. If the prices remain a mystery at least anyone who wants to purchase this device knows now when it will be available.
The device has been named “iPhone killer” several times, and who know maybe it will stop Apple’s iPhone from conquering all the mobile phone markets. In any case, HTC Touch Diamond or HTC MP6950 has a 2.8 inch VGA display and runs Windows Mobile 6.1. It also comes with aGPS, HSDPA / HSUPA. The handset comes with a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus and video recording, a preinstalled Pocket Office (Word Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, PDF). HTC Touch Diamond has a Qualcomm MSM7201A processor or 528 MHz, Bluetooth 2.0 support and around 4GB of internal memory.
