HTC announced their first GSM new Smartphone, viz- HTC Smart.

The price and availability has not been disclosed yet where the cell phone is believed to run on the Brew platform. Also it has company's proprietary Sense UI preinstalled that will run on a 300 MHz CPU.

The HTC Smart assures to be more productive and at the same time playful. It comes with a variety of phone configurations that assures to reflect your different moods. Besides this, there’s a mode for your busy weekdays that does fill your home screen with panels. These panels bascially help you out to get an easy acces of applications like email, calendar and the web browser.

Fun and enjoyment is also maintained with music, camera, and photo album panels. Not only this, the HTC smart allows you a single view of all your communications, be it  text, or a Facebook update with any one of your contacts.
 
You can also turn your web browser to landscape mode to get a better view while surfing the internet. A smart zoom has been offered that enlarges and reflows the text and thus enhances the pleasure in reading.

The HTC smart cellphone roughly features 256 MB RAM, 2.8" diagonal display, QVGA resolution, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support,  3G with 3.6 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, and a built-in fixed-focus camera.
