Bangladesh Grameenphone mobile phone carrier has announced that it has more that 20 million subscribers, an astonishing rise of more that 21% from January.

If we look at the figures we can see that this mobile phone company has known only success. Starting in May 2001 it had no more that 200,000 users, but with expert marketing strategies and quality services more and more people opted for Grameenphone.

Their success is probably empowered by offering cheap cell phones who don’t fail easily and competitive service prices. For the future they expect to break the competition and grow even more

Grameenphone officials say they expect to pass 70 million subscribers by 2011 as the country’s mobile phone market has known a tremendously fast-growing rate.
