They have released the white variant just to beat the competition, but my experience tells me, white catches dust and fingerprints the fastest. After some time, the handset loses it luster and starts looking dull. Black colour is preferred in any case.

Looks like i will have to wait till the end of this month for optimus 2x. But that's ok. good things are not so easily available.
