Amid too much speculation & shortcomings, the Solar USA in a deal with Chinese accessory maker Yosion says the Apple Peel 520 is expected to sell for approximately $60.

This is with reference to the iPod where a third-party device is supposed to add voice calling and text messaging feature. Besides this, it may even occupy a SIM card, battery, and Dock Connector together with apps to handle cell phone calls and messages as well.

On the other hand, it is believed that when completely charged, the Apple Peel's 800mAh battery provides approximately five hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby time.

Well the shortcomings could be overcome by means of a jailbroken iPod touch on hand, but previous reports point out that SMS delivery can be hit or miss at present.

Although the availability for the US market has not been announced so far, the initial making of the Apple Peel 520 by now is sold out.
