Google announced that their Android OS will be delayed until late Q4.

Android was no launched as Google promised because mobile phone companies and operators don’t seem to find a way to integrate it. Another reason may be that Sprint and T-Mobile will not be able to release phones running on Android until next year.

In addition Sprint says it will now focus on work on WiMAX devices and Android handsets are not their first priority.

As market is controlled by Windows Mobile operating system, Google will have to impress with high quality in order to conquer some terrain.
