I am not really so fussy of having a camera in the phone, but a moderate VGA camera present in W270, would have made it very attractive, as it is they have provided a card slot, I can have captured memories & stored them. But it is a good at least the specs say so, especially the claimed battery life of 9hrs.

Seems you had a first hand experience on W270. Where did you buy it? Is it really so tough to open that flip? I have used some of Moto flip phones but was comfortable to open flip single-handed. Pls. reply.

Good to see Moto active again with their new models, off late I hadn’t seen much of releases from them. I have Moto RAZR and was planning to have a simple second phone for me, & W270 is there, hope I am able to see it on the shelve soon.

Would have been a great feature if the FM recorder could have recorded the songs and the heard too, but as per the specs on Moto site “its only as an alarm tone”, so sad.

I agree with some of the writers here that W230 and W270 carry same tech. specs, but see there is a difference in styling. One is bar type & this is flip, I am going in for it, I never like ho hold those brick ( bar) styled phones.

Wow an FM radio and MP3 player and no camera…..that’s exactly what I want.
And yes it has got an expandable memory card slot also! Great!!!

Who wants a camera in a cellphone, I always carry my Cannon 10mp with me for photoing. But am fond of music and W270 falls perfectly in the slot, definite buy for me.
