I have been using this phone for few months, but suddenly it stopped functioning. When I took the phone to the service centre, they refused to repair, saying its water damage. Its not their responsibility. I am 100% sure that I have not dropped it in the water. Then what could be the problem? Such a costly phone and not its not functioning.. I am disappointed.. :(

Did something happend before the issue or it just stopped. Maybe rain or something? I had a similar issue and the phone started working again when some time passed. I was talking in the street and it was raining and suddenly the voice disappeared.

I was greatly astonished at such behaviour. There was not much water inside.

When I was on the shore my iPhone fell into the sea. And the water was salty. THAT was an issue. I think pure water can do no harm. Ask somebody - I'm pretty sure it can be cured easily.

I had the same problem with my Moto phone, it stopped working becoz it got wet due to sweat. sad and even they didn’t repaired my phone.. very sad part on both companies..
