I have just started using mobile phones. When I get text message, I go to the messages - Inbox - where i see a closed envelope with some text message under it, or an opened envelope (if I have already read that msg). But sometimes when I get small messages, eg. ok / no / yes
I want to know for such short msgs.. why i need to open a message and read a msg? Do I have to pay for a msg if I open it or not open? Thanks in advance. |

U shouldn’t be charged for msgs which you are receiving. You get charged for sending them. As well shouldn’t get charged for reading a msg. If your service provider is charging you for this, go and discontinue the service he is offering..

yes, you shouldn’t be charged. The sender gets charged, whatever the text rates are there.
Unless you receive a text from abroad or you are in abroad and receiving a text there from some other country, then you would be charged for it. (Check what type of roaming facility you are using) |
