The easiest way to quickly communicate mathematics is to write it down on piece of paper. Written mathematics is a spatial form using 2D dimensions extensively it differs a lot from languages which are linear forms.
There are different ways round this, you can use LaTex, but this has a big learning curve, word equations editor is slow, shared whiteboards require special technology, taking photos is awkward.
