So I’m a UK self-published author and last year was the year my debut
came out. I sold very minimal numbers in the US (amounting to roughly
£33), and I’ve just been sent a tax form for the year by Amazon.

I’m totally new to this as tax is done automatically, mostly, in the UK.
Do I need to do anything? Am I supposed to fill this form out and send
it somewhere? Or, with it being such a small amount do I do nothing?

Thanks for your help everyone.

Taxes are an interesting topic. Before you pay taxes, I recommend doing your research to avoid getting in trouble. When I just started to pay taxes (I paid a minimal amount at that time), I began to read a lot about them, found a website on financial literacy https://www.moneyunder30.com/ [moneyunder30.com], and realized that it's better to calculate taxes yourself, it's easier than when you collect all the papers and drag them to the tax office. So before you do something, it is better to study the information.
