there is only one code which i know
i have not tried it, i had deard from my friend that it is for determining the Manufacturing date.
It's *#0000#

No this code will not help you out in obtaining information about the manufacturing date
It will give the software information i.e. when the software was written, the version of the software etc. The code for manufacturing date is *#92702689#. After typing this code you get the following info:
1. Serial Number of your handset
2. Date of manufacture
3. Date of purchase and
4. Date of last repair
