DUDE LAST WEEK I WAS STUCK ON THE SAME CHOICE! either the curve or pre from my cetrno But as soon as I saw the palm pre I had to have it and I havnt looked back, the phones awsome the operating system is flawless the web is fantastic I ran a speed test for it the other day just walkin around and it clocked in at 2.3mbps (my cetrno only pulled like 400kbs) and then there's wifi amazon music store gps etc.. The only real problem I've seen is the screen is really sensitive (capacitive screen) so if left on you may accidentally press something.Hope this helps

If the outside of the phone looks aclxtey the same as your last one its probably the same phone. However the most likely reason the phone layout and everything looks different is because the software is newer or older than the one you had before. You can update to the newest software if you hook your curve up to your computer and using desktop manager you can update it. Just click application loader, and then update device software and let it do its thing. hope this helps!!ps- dnt unplug or interuppt your blackberry while the software is being downloaded, it will nuke your phone and left it completly unusable!

There’s a little confusion regarding 9100 and 9105. Both are Pearl 3G phone introduced on the same day, same time. It’s the keyboard (QWERTY or T9 keypad) that differentiates both the phones. There is NO Pearl 2!

The recently release BB Torch seems more appealing than the Pearl 3G series. It has a QWERTY keypad and is a slider; so rare for a BB. I would love to own it..

Just received my 9105. I wouldn’t agree with Harem about using QWERTY keypads. They are the most comfortable while typing emails or long messages (unless you have fat fingers ;). Regretting that didn’t get a BB Storm or BB Curve

It’s the first time I have liked a Blackberry phone. I hate QWERTY’s. its so difficult to type on them. Don’t know how people manage. But thankfully there’s a good business phone from BB that has a normal keypad.

i;ve become a huge fan of blackberry 3g 9105.i was waiting for a smart blachberry phone with non-querty pad...n now my wait is over..i cant get anything better then this..thank u blackberry..

I'm BlackBerry fan. and generally avoid using cell phones of other brands. Pearl 8300 is my favourite phone. I must say this one is so compact and lightweight, I will definitely go in for this phone.
